DC inaugurates newly constructed building of Model Boys Higher
Secondary School Rajouri
RAJOURI, APRIL 28: Deputy
Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today inaugurated the newly constructed
building of Government Model Boys Higher
Secondary School (HSS), marking a significant step towards enhancing the
educational infrastructure in the district.
On the occasion, the Deputy
Commissioner inspected the facilities of the school, including laboratories,
administrative offices, traditional classrooms, and smart classrooms equipped
with modern teaching aids. He interacted at length with the staff and students,
appreciating their efforts and encouraging them to continue striving for
academic excellence.
The School Principal Muslim Wani
briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the overall functioning of the
institution and highlighted the new initiatives introduced for the benefit of
students, such as the integration of smart technology in classrooms and steps
taken to improve the learning environment.
DC Abhishek Sharma
emphasized the importance of quality education in shaping the future of the
youth and assured full support from the administration in further strengthening
the facilities at the school. He also urged the students to make the best use
of the resources available and work hard towards achieving their goals.
The event witnessed the presence of
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa; Chief
Education Officer (CEO) Iqbal Hussain, District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO)
Abdul Raheem and prominent members of civil society, who lauded the initiative
and expressed optimism about the positive impact it would have on the students’
academic journey.
