Kathua Admin launches major crackdown
against illicit liquor production

In a swift and decisive move, the Kathua district administration conducted a
surprise raid at Kukechak, leading to the dismantling of illegal spurious
liquor operations. The operation was led by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rakesh
Minhas along with Additional Deputy Commissioner Ranjit Singh and Tehsildar.
The action came
after credible inputs regarding the unlawful activities of spurious liquor
production and distribution in the area. Upon receiving the tip-off, the
district administration acted promptly, carrying out a thorough investigation
and ensuring the culprits were brought to the book. The successful raid is a
