Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated with religious fervor across Ramban

RAMBAN, MARCH 31: Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated with religious fervor and joyous festivities across Ramban district, here today. The largest congregations were witnessed at Jamia Masjid Sharif Ramban, Eidgah in Banihal, Gool and Batote, where a large number of devotees gathered to perform Namaz-e-Eid, offering prayers for peace, development and prosperity in the Union Territory and the nation at large.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, conveyed warm greetings to the people, emphasizing that such occasions foster unity, communal harmony and brotherhood in society.

The District and Police Administration have made elaborate arrangements, including security measures, to ensure the smooth observance of Eid-ul-Fitr festivities. Eid prayers were also conducted at various mosques in the town and its outskirts.

Senior officers participated in Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in their respective jurisdictions, extending their heartfelt wishes to the Muslim community on this auspicious occasion.

MLA Ramban Arjun Singh Raju, Additional Deputy Commissioner Varunjeet Singh Charak, Additional SP Gourav Mahajan, Tehsildar Ramban Deep Kumar, Dy. SP Omprakash, SHO Vijay Kotwal, and other officials from the District Administration joined celebrations at Jamia Masjid Qadeem, Ramban, extending heartfelt Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to all.

The spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr resonated in various other areas, including Banihal, Sangaldan, Ramsoo, Ukhral, Batote, Gool and Rajgrah, where communities came together to celebrate with joy and unity.
