Bhawan today hosted the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
The gathering observed the
significance of the foundation day of the two states which was celebrated on
20th February.
In his address, the Lieutenant Governor
Shri Manoj Sinha paid homage to great leaders and valiant freedom fighters from
Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram.
"Such occasions provide us an
opportunity to remember that we need to discharge our duties towards the
society and the country with complete dedication. I have no doubt that each one
of you will act responsibly for progress and prosperity of this great nation.
It has been my wish that growth and
prosperity reaches every individual and every household of the country and no
one should be left behind as the nation moves forward. Our integrated efforts
should aim to improve the economic status and empowerment of every section of
society", the Lieutenant Governor said.
The Lieutenant Governor also spoke on
the development journey of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram, under the leadership
of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
He conveyed his best wishes to the
people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram and prayed for the rapid development of
the two states.
