DDC reviews implementation of Health
schemes, TB elimination program in Reasi District
REASI, FEBRUARY 04:
District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi, Nidhi Malik chaired a
comprehensive review meeting to assess the functioning of the Health Department
and the implementation of the National Health Mission (NHM) in the district.
Chief Medical
Officer (CMO) Dr. Mohammad Ashraf Kohli provided an in-depth overview of the
department’s performance through a detailed PowerPoint presentation.
Additionally, the DDC also took insights on Family Planning and Immunization
and on working of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Program (NTEP).
Emphasizing the
need for efficient and timely implementation of various health schemes and
programs, she asked for achieving targets within stipulated timelines.
Special focus was
laid on improving healthcare accessibility in remote and hilly areas like Mahore,
Reasi, and Pouni, ensuring that people in these regions receive adequate
medical facilities and services.
The DDC reiterated
the administration’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services across the
district and directed officials to ensure seamless execution of government
health programs, particularly in underserved areas.
The meeting was
also attended by MS DH Reasi, DTO Reasi, DHO Reasi, DIO (Immunization) Reasi,
