Udhampur: Horror film makers thank
district administration as shooting begins in Patnitop
UDHAMPUR, FEBRUARY 03: A horror
film 'Aranya Shraap' officially began production in the scenic hill station of
Patnitop today, with the muhurat ceremony held in the presence of the Udhampur
district administration and other dignitaries.
The District Administration, led by
Deputy Commissioner, Saloni Rai has played a key role in facilitating the
project, ensuring smooth arrangements for the production team. The launch event
was attended by District Information Officer, and also the CEO Municipal
Council Udhampur, Rajinder Digra, former Sarpanch Karlah Panchayat Patnitop,
Puran Chand and Manager TC Padora, Tej Krishan Dhar among others.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker
Suzad Iqbal Khan, the film features veteran actor Mir Sarwar in the lead role
and is produced by Biswajit Bhattacharjee. Shooting will take place at multiple
picturesque locations across Patnitop, showcasing the region’s breathtaking
landscapes while delivering an intense cinematic experience.
Expressing his gratitude, the
filmmaker extended heartfelt thanks to the Udhampur district administration,
particularly Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, for her unwavering support in
ensuring a seamless filming process. He also acknowledged the warm reception
and enthusiasm of the local population, which has further enriched the
filmmaking experience.
