ADC Doda chairs District Level Aadhaar Monitoring
Committee Meeting
DODA, DECEMBER 12: Additional Deputy
Commissioner Doda Sudershan Kumar today chaired a District Level Aadhaar
Monitoring Committee meeting at the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex,
Doda. The meeting aimed at accelerating Aadhaar enrolment across the district
while addressing operational challenges to improve service delivery in which
key officials and stakeholders participated.
The meeting was attended by ACR Doda
Sunil Bhutyal, Teshildar Doda Subuh Ahmed Shad, officials from education,
health and adhar card enrollment initiative.
The primary focus of the meeting was
to achieve Aadhaar enrolment targets for various age groups, including children
aged 0-5 years, students aged 5-18 years, and adults.
The performance of existing Aadhaar
enrollment centers was reviewed, with an emphasis on improving
inter-departmental coordination for efficient and timely service delivery.
The ADC stressed the need to
streamline enrolment processes by eliminating redundant steps, simplifying
documentation requirements, and adopting user-friendly mechanisms to facilitate
easy access to Aadhaar services. He directed the concerned departments to
collaborate effectively, particularly Education, Health, and ICDS departments,
to ensure higher enrolment among school children and beneficiaries of welfare
schemes.
The ADC instructed Teshildars to
promote Aadhaar enrolment within their jurisdictions and oversee the enrolment
process. He also directed the Education Department and Municipal authorities to
cooperate in streamlining the enrolment drive.
