Training Programme for AWW inaugurated at Govt Polytechnic
College Reasi
REASI, DECEMBER 12: A comprehensive
training programme for Anganwadi workers under the POSHAN Project Reasi was
inaugurated today at the Government Polytechnic College, Reasi which aims to
enhance the skills and knowledge of Anganwadi workers in Early Childhood Care
and Education (ECCE).
The training programme will run in
two batches with each batch consisting of 100 Sanginis receiving intensive
training over three days. The training for the first batch commenced today, and
the second batch is scheduled to start on December 16.
The curriculum, designed through the
books Navchetna and Adharshila, focuses on introducing the workers to new
trends and techniques to be adopted in Anganwadi centers. This hands-on
orientation ensures that the participants are well-acquainted with the latest
methods in ECCE, empowering them to implement innovative and child-centric
learning strategies.
Speaking on the occasion, CDPO Reasi
Suninderjeet Kour said that this ongoing initiative serves as a critical step
in strengthening the capacity of Anganwadi workers and ensuring the effective
implementation of the POSHAN Abhiyaan’s goals in the region.
The programme underscores the
department's commitment to fostering quality education and care at the
grassroots level, equipping Anganwadi workers with the tools they need to
nurture early childhood development.
