DC reviews security arrangements at
SRM construction site in Baishty-Chenani
UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER
20: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai, accompanied by Senior
Superintendent of Police Amod Ashok Nagpure, today visited the camp office of
SRM Construction at Baishty in Tehsil Chenani.
The visit aimed to
assess the overall security scenario at the construction site and ensure safety
measures are in place.
During the
inspection, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the site comprehensively and
stressed the importance of adhering to standard security protocols and
guidelines. Key measures emphasized included Provision of adequate lighting at
the campsite, installation of the alarm system at all entry points, regular
patrolling by Village Defence Groups, display of contact numbers of the nearest
police station to facilitate prompt communication during emergencies.
The DC highlighted
the necessity of creating a secure and conducive environment to ensure the
smooth progress of construction activities and safeguarding workers'
well-being. She urged all stakeholders to collaborate effectively with the
administration to implement the recommended measures.
